I’m in deep trouble.

I just discovered Twitter.

I discovered it AFTER the Amazonfail debacle on Twitter – it took Twitterers and bloggers only a day to get Amazon to right a ‘glitch’ which affected over fifty thousand books, most of them erotic and LGBT – but anyway. I felt curious and went searching for this famed ‘Twitter’, only to discover a lot of my writer friends are there. Everyone Twitters! Everyone but me!

So there I sign up, and realize: oh me oh my, it is the most evil procrastination tool in existence!

I could say it is just like IM, except you IM with lots of people at a time. It’s fun, it’s overwhelming, it’s limiting (you can only tweet about a hundred letters at a time, really, so you can’t even have something meaningful to say) and yet it’s alive and buzzing.

So now I must be quite the dictator with myself and set up a Tweeting time, otherwise, I’m screwed. Still not sure what time of the day I will feel most like Twittering, but I know one thing: it can’t be all day!
